چکیده
Functional polymeric membranes with antibacterial properties have gained significant importance in many applications. Silver NPs offer advantage over other materials for their effective and being safer humans at low concentrations. The synthesis of silver may not always be environmental friendly incorporation the polymer is usually a multistep process. In this study, PVDF/PVP/AgNPs electrospun were developed single step process where synthesized using reducing stabilizing PVP. UV-vis spectroscopy confirmed PVP solution by sharp absorption peak 398 nm. loaded various concentrations (1, 1.5, 2 2.5 wt%). scanning electron microscopy showed nano fibers uniform diameter optimized electrospinning conditions. FTIR also successful development composite (PVDF/PVP/AgNPs) membranes. demonstrated against Staphylococcus aureus disk diffusion test. size inhibition halo increased concentration findings study will helpful simple environmentally applications such as air water filtration.

a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
Silver nanoparticles embedded in zeolite membranes: release of silver ions and mechanism of antibacterial action
BACKGROUND The focus of this study is on the antibacterial properties of silver nanoparticles embedded within a zeolite membrane (AgNP-ZM). METHODS AND RESULTS These membranes were effective in killing Escherichia coli and were bacteriostatic against methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. E. coli suspended in Luria Bertani (LB) broth and isolated from physical contact with the membrane ...

Characterization of cashew gum-based silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) was carried out based on UV-Vis spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy and dynamic light scatteri...
متن کاملAn antibacterial coating based on a polymer/sol-gel hybrid matrix loaded with silver nanoparticles
In this work a novel antibacterial surface composed of an organic-inorganic hybrid matrix of tetraorthosilicate and a polyelectrolyte is presented. A precursor solution of tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) and poly(acrylic acid sodium salt) (PAA) was prepared and subsequently thin films were fabricated by the dip-coating technique using glass slides as substrates. This hybrid matrix coating is further l...
